The Blood Moons and Israel's Feasts
We are living in exciting times. Israel becoming a nation in 1948 and then
being a whole nation that includes Jerusalem in 1967. Pestilence and earthquakes occurring more and with more fierceness like a woman in hard labor of child birth. With the
Communication Age upon us, we hear daily of wars and rumors of wars. The love for your fellow man growing so very cold. Now with the Internet, the whole world will be see the
miracles, the death, and resurrection of the Two Witnesses. Yes, all of these things including the upcoming first of the Lunar tetred to occur on Jewish feast days, April 15, 2014.
I've had the pleasure of spending a weekend with two great servants of God. When I was a boy of 10 years, Dr. E. V. Hill and his wife stayed at my parent's house. It was a life changing event; it had a profound impact upon my life. However, that story is for another time. Three years ago, my friend Dan and I had the pleasure of spending a weekend with Barry and Penny Setterfield. I have never met a more brillant man in my life. What was most astounding was his down to earth attitude; in other words, Barry was a very humble person. Here are links to read about Barry and Penny. The Setterfields opened up their home to us, provided us with new and interesting foods that were pleasant to the pallet. However, it was their knowledge of the Scriptures and of God's Creation that fed our souls and nutured our spirits that was most profound.
We are on the verge of astronomical and historical events that may alter the entire Earth. An event that is already rare astronomically is for 4 full Lunar eclipses to occur in succession. Usually, a number of partial eclipses occur between the times of total Lunar eclipses. Even more remarkable is for such a tetrad of Lunar eclipses to occur on Jewish feast days (whether visible from Israel or not), thus gaining the name ‘blood moons.’ This Lunar tetrad event on Jewish feast days will only occur once in this century, in 2014-2015.
